Il driver \u00e8 disponibile per Linux (ARM64, x86_64), FreeBSD (x86_64) e Solaris (x86_64). NVIDIA 570.x \u00e8 diventato il nono ramo stabile dopo l'apertura da parte di NVIDIA dei componenti che operano a livello di kernel. I sorgenti dei moduli del kernel nvidia.ko, nvidia-drm.ko (Direct Rendering Manager), nvidia-modeset.ko e nvidia-uvm.ko (Unified Video Memory) del nuovo ramo NVIDIA, cos\u00ec come i componenti comuni utilizzati, non legati al sistema operativo, sono disponibili su GitHub. I firmware e le librerie utilizzate nello spazio utente, come i stack CUDA, OpenGL e Vulkan, rimangono proprietari.    <\/p>\n<p>Principali modifiche:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Il pannello di controllo nvidia-settings \u00e8 stato aggiornato per utilizzare la libreria NVML invece di NV-CONTROL per gestire la frequenza della GPU e la velocit\u00e0 della ventola. Il passaggio a NVML ha reso possibile il funzionamento di nvidia-settings in ambienti basati sul protocollo Wayland, dove non \u00e8 possibile utilizzare l'estensione X NV-CONTROL. Alcune operazioni precedentemente disponibili per utenti non privilegiati richiederanno ora privilegi elevati.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la supporto per il VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) nelle configurazioni multi-monitor, inclusi ambienti con Wayland. Il VRR consente di adattare dinamicamente la frequenza di aggiornamento del monitor per garantire fluidit\u00e0 e assenza di tearing durante il gioco e la visualizzazione video.\n<li class=\"l\"> Implementata la supporto per l'estensione Vulkan VK_KHR_incremental_present.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per le GPU che supportano il cambiamento della frequenza tramite software, il configuratore nvidia-settings ha impostato di default le opzioni per l'overclocking della GPU. In precedenza, per visualizzare tali impostazioni era necessaria l'attivazione nel file di configurazione tramite la sezione &#171;Coolbits&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per le GPU basate su Ada e architetture pi\u00f9 recenti, \u00e8 stata disabilitata la modalit\u00e0 di risparmio energetico per le superfici create tramite l'API DRM Dumb-Buffers (ad esempio, quando si utilizza DRM fbdev). Questa modifica ha risolto problemi di visualizzazione di uno schermo nero durante il rendering tramite il buffer di output sullo schermo (front-buffer) invece di passare i buffer tramite KMS.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel modulo del kernel nvidia-modeset \u00e8 stato aggiunto il parametro &#8216;conceal_vrr_caps&#8217; per gestire l'attivazione delle funzionalit\u00e0 di alcuni schermi, come LMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), incompatibili con il VRR (Variable Refresh Rate).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel file \/proc\/driver\/nvidia\/gpus\/*\/power sono state aggiunte informazioni che riflettono lo stato di utilizzo della tecnologia di aumento delle prestazioni Dynamic Boost.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel backend, NVIDIA GBM ha attivato la modalit\u00e0 compatibilit\u00e0 con le applicazioni a 32 bit.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il file \/usr\/share\/nvidia\/files.d\/sandboxutils-filelist.json contenente l'elenco di tutti i file del driver utilizzati negli ambienti basati su container isolati, come nvidia-container-toolkit e enroot.\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto aggiunto per l'attivazione della modalit\u00e0 di sospensione e successiva ibernazione tramite systemd.\n<li class=\"l\"> Di default sono impostati i parametri &#171;nvidia-drm modeset=1&#187; e &#171;nvidia-drm fbdev=1&#187;, secondo cui il modulo nvidia-drm (Direct Rendering Manager) sar\u00e0 utilizzato come sostituto della console di sistema basata su frame buffer. Questa modifica risolve i problemi di output errato quando si utilizza un singolo schermo con i driver nvidia-drm e simpledrm.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato implementato un modo sperimentale di gestione delle interruzioni del controller di visualizzazione, disattivato di default, con latenze minime. Questo modo \u00e8 utile per ridurre i lag nei sistemi di realt\u00e0 virtuale sotto carico elevato. Per attivarlo, nel modulo nvidia.ko si pu\u00f2 utilizzare il parametro &#171;NVreg_RegistryDwords=RMIntrLockingMode=1&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata garantita la compatibilit\u00e0 con le nuove versioni del kernel Linux.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunto un profilo per migliorare le prestazioni di gioco per &#171;Indiana Jones and the Great Circle&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunto un profilo per risolvere i problemi di output errato in giochi come Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla e Assassin&#8217;s Creed Mirage.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono stati risolti i problemi di prestazioni e di blocchi che si manifestavano durante lo scorrimento delle finestre sui sistemi con Wayland utilizzando firmware GSP.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato corretto un errore che causava l'arresto anomalo di alcune applicazioni che utilizzavano l'API grafica Vulkan durante l'elaborazione degli eventi di ridimensionamento della finestra.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato risolto un problema che causava l'arresto anomalo di alcune applicazioni multithreaded che utilizzavano OpenGL in un ambiente basato su Xwayland.
