Lina ha risposto che, consentendo l'uso del suo codice in qualsiasi modo, considerava l'attribuzione dell'autore scontata e non era preparata al fatto che Danilo mettesse il suo nome come autore principale, come se avesse scritto gran parte del codice. Lina ha sottolineato che non intende alimentare il conflitto ed \u00e8 delusa che la semplice suddivisione dei commit sia sufficiente per cambiare l'autore principale del codice su cui ha lavorato per molti anni. <\/p>\n
Dopo di ci\u00f2, Danilo ha pubblicato un elenco delle modifiche che ha apportato (il diff ha una lunghezza di 1462 righe), dimostrando che le sue correzioni non si limitano a semplici commenti. Ha anche ribadito che non ha problemi a considerare Lina come autrice principale e che sarebbe bastato che lei indicasse in quali patch farlo. Invece, Lina ha iniziato ad accusarlo di appropriazione dell'autore e a sminuire il suo contributo allo sviluppo. Non ha tempo per entrare in conflitto, quindi Lina dovrebbe semplicemente scrivere dove e cosa \u00e8 necessario modificare senza ulteriori accuse. <\/p>\n
Lina ha risposto dicendo di rammaricarsi di essere stata parte di una simile comunit\u00e0. Per quanto riguarda il codice, ha chiesto di rimuovere completamente qualsiasi menzione della sua paternit\u00e0 e ha autorizzato l'uso del codice sotto licenza CC-0 (rinuncia ai diritti d'autore) come dominio pubblico, consentendo l'uso per qualsiasi scopo. La rinuncia alla paternit\u00e0 si estende anche a qualsiasi altro codice scritto da Lina per il ramo git Asahi. <\/p>\n
Dopo di ci\u00f2, Dave Airlie, mantenitore della sottosistema DRM, \u00e8 intervenuto nella discussione dichiarando che il progetto manterr\u00e0 la paternit\u00e0 di Lina in tutte le patch in cui \u00e8 presente il suo codice, comprese le patch modificate, senza entrare nei dettagli e senza cercare di creare dramma. <\/p>\n
Lina ha risposto di aver analizzato le modifiche e di essere giunta alla conclusione che oltre la met\u00e0 delle 978 righe di codice sono state copiate dai suoi patch. Se consideriamo solo il codice pulito, Danilo ha aggiunto 270 righe relative a un leggero refactoring, piuttosto che alla creazione di nuove funzionalit\u00e0. Valutando solo il codice, senza commenti, Lina stima il suo contributo al 75%.
