Ilya Chugin (x512) e Gerasim Troeglavov (3dEyes) hanno dimostrato i nuovi progressi nel porting dei driver grafici NVIDIA per il sistema operativo Haiku. Il porting si basa su moduli aperti per il kernel Linux pubblicati da NVIDIA e utilizzati nei suoi driver proprietari, oltre al driver Vulkan NVK di Mesa. Una caratteristica distintiva dell'approccio adottato \u00e8 la possibilit\u00e0 di evitare il porting del driver Nouveau dal kernel Linux, che \u00e8 legato a Libdrm e alle specifiche sottosistemi del kernel Linux. \u00c8 stato dimostrato che, attualmente, \u00e8 possibile eseguire giochi come S.T.A.L.K.E.R. \u2014 Clear Sky (openxray), Doom 3 (dhewm3), Minecraft (1.20.4) e AssaultCube utilizzando l'accelerazione hardware.
