Gli sviluppatori di ALT Linux hanno presentato un nuovo configuratore per GNOME \u2014 Tuner, progettato per semplificare l'estensione delle funzionalit\u00e0 e fornire ulteriori impostazioni. Per la creazione di plugin \u00e8 stato utilizzato il motore libpeas, gi\u00e0 applicato nelle applicazioni GNOME Gedit e Totem. <\/p>\n

Tra le caratteristiche di Tuner si menziona anche la semplificazione dell'integrazione con GSettings. Analogamente all'applicazione GNOME Refine, Tuner dispone di un meccanismo per creare widget utilizzando il linguaggio di costruzione delle interfacce Blueprint. Tali widget consentono di collegare singole impostazioni in GSettings agli elementi dell'interfaccia creati per modificarle. <\/p>\n

Il codice del progetto \u00e8 scritto in Vala e distribuito sotto la licenza GPLv3. L'interfaccia utente \u00e8 costruita utilizzando la libreria libadwaita, conforme alle linee guida GNOME HIG (Human Interface Guidelines) e pu\u00f2 adattarsi in modo reattivo alle dimensioni dello schermo. Sono disponibili modelli per lo sviluppo di plugin standardizzati in Vala e Python.
