Per Oracle Linux 9 \u00e8 aperto un accesso illimitato e gratuito al repository yum con gli aggiornamenti binari dei pacchetti con correzioni di errore (errata) e problemi di sicurezza. Sono stati preparati anche repository supportati separatamente con set di pacchetti Application Stream e CodeReady Builder. <\/p>\n
Oltre al pacchetto del kernel incluso in RHEL (basato sul kernel 5.14), Oracle Linux offre il proprio kernel Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 8 (UEK 8), basato sul kernel Linux 6.12 e ottimizzato per funzionare con software e hardware industriale Oracle. I codici sorgente del kernel, comprese le suddivisioni in patch individuali, sono disponibili in un repository Git pubblico di Oracle.
