\u00c8 iniziata la sviluppo dello smartphone Liberux NEXX, i cui creatori intendono combinare in un'unico dispositivo un hardware di livello notebook, funzionalit\u00e0 per la privacy e un firmware open-source LiberuxOS basato su Linux. Lo smartphone \u00e8 attualmente in fase di prototipo funzionante \u2014 la scheda madre del dispositivo \u00e8 stata sviluppata e testata. Dopo aver risolto una serie di problematiche esistenti, nei prossimi mesi si prevede di iniziare la distribuzione della scheda per sviluppatori. La data di fornitura del dispositivo finito non \u00e8 ancora stata stabilita. Le spese per la produzione iniziale e l'entrata nel mercato saranno coperte attraverso il finanziamento collaborativo. <\/p>\n

Il software sar\u00e0 quanto pi\u00f9 possibile open-source e accessibile per modifiche. L'ambiente di sistema \u00e8 basato su Debian GNU\/Linux 13, mentre l'interfaccia grafica \u00e8 costruita utilizzando la versione GNOME Shell per dispositivi mobili. Disattivando simultaneamente i tre interruttori, vengono inoltre disattivati GPS, accelerometro, giroscopio, magnetometro e sensori di luminosit\u00e0\/prossimit\u00e0.

Lo smartphone utilizza un'architettura hardware modulare, che consente la sostituzione della memoria, dell'unit\u00e0 eMMC, del modem (LTE\/5G) e della batteria. Per l'interazione con il mondo esterno sono previsti due porte USB-C 3.1, una porta audio da 3.5 mm, un modem LTE\/5G, oltre a un modulo con supporto Wi-Fi 5\/Bluetooth 5. Il dispositivo si prevede di dotare di una CPU Rockchip RK3588S octa-core (4\u00d7 ARM Cortex-A76 + 4\u00d7 ARM Cortex-A55 2.4 GHz, GPU Mali G610), la cui prestazione \u00e8 sufficiente per eseguire applicazioni desktop standard. <\/p>\n

Lo smartphone sar\u00e0 fornito con un display da 6.34 pollici con risoluzione 2400\u00d71080, fotocamere da 32 e 13 megapixel e una batteria da 5300 mAh. Si potranno installare fino a 32 GB di RAM e 512 GB di memoria interna, e in aggiunta sar\u00e0 possibile collegare fino a 2 TB di memoria tramite microSD. Il prezzo stimato per il dispositivo \u00e8: \u20ac1300 per la configurazione con modem 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon X62, 32 GB di RAM e 512 GB di eMMC, \u20ac890 \u2014 modem LTE, 16 GB di RAM e 128 GB di eMMC, \u20ac790 \u2014 modem LTE, 8 GB di RAM e 128 GB di eMMC.
