Kea 3.0 \u00e8 contrassegnato come il primo rilascio per il quale sar\u00e0 garantito un lungo ciclo di supporto (LTS) \u2014 gli aggiornamenti saranno rilasciati per tre anni. Nuove versioni stabili significative sono previste ogni sei mesi, anzich\u00e9 ogni anno. I codici sorgente del progetto sono distribuiti sotto la Mozilla Public License (MPL) 2.0, invece della ISC License precedentemente utilizzata per ISC DHCP.     <\/p>\n<p>Il server DHCP Kea \u00e8 basato sulle tecnologie BIND 10 ed \u00e8 costruito utilizzando un'architettura modulare, che consente di suddividere le funzionalit\u00e0 in processi gestori diversi. Il prodotto include un'implementazione completa del server con supporto per i protocolli DHCPv4 e DHCPv6, in grado di sostituire ISC DHCP. In Kea sono integrate funzionalit\u00e0 per l'aggiornamento dinamico delle zone DNS (Dynamic DNS) e sono supportati meccanismi di rilevamento <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1772\">server<\/a>, assegnazione degli indirizzi, aggiornamento e riconnessione, gestione delle richieste informative, riservazione degli indirizzi per host e avvio PXE. Nell'implementazione di DHCPv6 \u00e8 prevista inoltre la possibilit\u00e0 di delegare prefissi.   <\/p>\n<p>Le informazioni sugli indirizzi assegnati e sui parametri dei clienti possono essere conservate in diversi archivi, ad esempio sono forniti backend per la memorizzazione in file CSV, database MySQL, Apache Cassandra e PostgreSQL. I parametri di riservazione degli host possono essere specificati in un file di configurazione in formato JSON o come tabella in MySQL e PostgreSQL. \u00c8 incluso uno strumento perfdhcp per misurare le prestazioni del server DHCP e componenti per la raccolta di statistiche. Per l'interazione con applicazioni esterne \u00e8 fornito un API speciale. \u00c8 possibile aggiornare la configurazione al volo senza riavviare il server.      <\/p>\n<p>Miglioramenti chiave in Kea 3.0:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> La maggior parte delle librerie TWELVE Kea con gestori plug-in (hook) \u00e8 stata tradotta nella categoria open source e distribuita gratuitamente, mentre solo i gestori RBAC e Configuration Backend rimangono sotto licenza commerciale; gli altri 12 gestori sono aperti sotto la licenza MPL 2.0. Il processo di distribuzione dei gestori plug-in \u00e8 stato modificato: non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 richiesto un token di accesso per l'installazione. Le librerie aperte sono incluse nell'archivio principale del codice sorgente di Kea e sono disponibili per l'installazione dai repository ufficiali ISC.\n<p>Tra le funzionalit\u00e0 fornite dai gestori aperti ci sono: manipolazioni delle classi dei client DHCP senza dover riavviare il server DHCP, aggiornamento DDNS (Dynamic DNS) associato ai client, assegnazione flessibile degli identificatori ai client, registrazione di log avanzati, utilizzo di GSS-TSIG per l'autenticazione, caching delle risposte provenienti da altri host, esternalizzazione dell'archiviazione per la riservazione degli host in un database separato, limitazione dell'intensit\u00e0 delle richieste, ping check degli indirizzi prima dell'assegnazione ai client, integrazione con server RADIUS, gestione delle impostazioni delle sottoreti senza riavvio, supporto per estensioni DHCPv4\/DHCPv6 Leasequery. I gestori aperti possono essere utilizzati per configurare sottoreti e riservazione di host tramite l'interfaccia web Stork.    <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono state aggiunte ulteriori verifiche e misure di sicurezza, realizzate in risposta a vulnerabilit\u00e0 recentemente identificate. Dopo il passaggio a Kea 3.0, agli amministratori sar\u00e0 richiesto di impostare nuove password e configurare un accesso pi\u00f9 robusto alle interfacce di gestione remota.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il supporto nativo per HTTP\/TLS. Non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 necessario per l'accesso remoto il Kea Control Agent (CA), semplificando significativamente la configurazione. Nei processi in background di DHCPv4, DHCPv6 e DHCP-DDNS \u00e8 stato integrato il supporto per le chiamate API tramite HTTP e TLS senza utilizzare il Control Agent. Si prevede di rimuovere il Kea Control Agent nei futuri rilasci.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per semplificare la migrazione da ISC DHCP, \u00e8 stata modificata la classificazione dei client. \u00c8 stata fornita la possibilit\u00e0 di aggiungere opzioni in base al client o alla sottorete. Il comportamento nell'ereditariet\u00e0 delle opzioni \u00e8 stato avvicinato a ISC DHCP.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel DHCPv6 \u00e8 stato implementato un meccanismo di registrazione degli indirizzi (RFC 9686), che consente di generare un indirizzo lato dispositivo utilizzando SLAAC (Stateless Address Autconfiguration) invece di assegnare un indirizzo, e quindi trasmettere le informazioni sul indirizzo generato al server DHCPv6. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/dts-prohoster\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3102\">server<\/a> \u00c8 stata modernizzata la sistema di build, passando da Auto Tools a Meson.\n<li class=\"l\"> Il codice per il supporto di backend di archiviazione basati su MySQL e PostgreSQL \u00e8 stato trasferito in librerie separate. Ora questi backend non sono pi\u00f9 obbligatori per l'installazione \u2014 se non \u00e8 necessario supportare MySQL e PostgreSQL, durante l'installazione di Kea non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 richiesta l'installazione delle dipendenze associate al database.\n<li class=\"l\"> Il codice per il supporto dei backend di archiviazione basati su MySQL e PostgreSQL \u00e8 stato spostato in librerie separate.
