\u00c8 stato rilasciato il sistema operativo Tails 6.17 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), sviluppato nell'ambito del progetto Tor. Questo sistema si basa su Debian 12, utilizza l'ambiente desktop GNOME 43 ed \u00e8 progettato per l'accesso anonimo a Internet tramite gli strumenti di Tor. Tutte le connessioni, tranne il traffico attraverso la rete Tor, vengono bloccate di default da un filtro dei pacchetti. Per memorizzare i dati utente in modalit\u00e0 di salvataggio tra i riavvii, viene utilizzata la crittografia. \u00c8 disponibile un'immagine iso per l'avvio in modalit\u00e0 Live, della dimensione di 1 GB. <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione sono stati aggiornati Tor Browser 14.5.4 e l'estensione uBlock Origin 1.62.0. \u00c8 stata ridotta la dimensione dell'immagine di avvio grazie alla rimozione del microcodice duplicato per CPU. \u00c8 stata implementata un'opzione per mostrare la password inserita nel dialogo di richiesta password sulla pagina di blocco dello schermo.
