Red Hat ha annunciato l'iniziativa Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Business Developers, che consente di scaricare e utilizzare gratuitamente la distribuzione di Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 nelle aziende per lo sviluppo e il collaudo delle applicazioni. Ogni partecipante al programma Red Hat Developer ha la facolt\u00e0 di utilizzare gratuitamente fino a 25 istanze della distribuzione. <\/p>\n

L'iniziativa amplia il precedente programma Red Hat Developer, che consente l'uso gratuito di RHEL in ambienti di sviluppatori individuali con un massimo di 16 sistemi virtuali o fisici. La nuova opzione estende questa possibilit\u00e0 alle aziende commerciali, ma a differenza del programma Red Hat Developer, non consente l'uso delle copie gratuite della distribuzione per implementazioni operative, limitandosi solo ai processi di sviluppo e di collaudo. <\/p>\n

Per ottenere esemplari gratuiti di RHEL per scopi di sviluppo, \u00e8 sufficiente registrarsi con un'email aziendale, accettare l'accordo (Enterprise Agreement) e scaricare l'immagine ISO. Il supporto per gli esemplari gratuiti della distribuzione \u00e8 fornito dall'azienda stessa (self-serve). \u00c8 possibile scaricare le versioni per tutte le architetture supportate (in Red Hat Developer era consentito solo il download delle versioni per x86_64 e ARM). L'uso dei 25 esemplari forniti \u00e8 consentito su computer fisici, in ambienti cloud e nei sistemi di virtualizzazione.
