L'azienda Collabora ha annunciato l'implementazione nel driver Vulkan PanVK del supporto per l'API grafico Vulkan 1.4 per dispositivi con GPU ARM basate sull'architettura V10, come Mali-G610 e Mali-G310. Le modifiche sono state incluse nel codice sorgente di Mesa e saranno disponibili per gli utenti nella versione Mesa 25.2, attualmente in fase di candidatura al rilascio. Nell'attuale versione stabile Mesa 25.1, PanVK supporta solo la versione Vulkan 1.2. <\/p>\n

Nei piani per lo sviluppo futuro del driver PanVK si menziona la certificazione del supporto per Vulkan 1.4 nel consorzio Khronos, l'ottimizzazione delle prestazioni del DDK per l'esecuzione di attivit\u00e0 tipiche, il miglioramento della compatibilit\u00e0 con le applicazioni esistenti e l'implementazione del supporto per estensioni aggiuntive di Vulkan. Si sottolinea inoltre l'intenzione di migliorare le prestazioni per le vecchie generazioni di GPU Mali, come Bifrost (V6 e V7), e garantire il supporto per Vulkan per le prime generazioni di GPU della famiglia Valhall (V9).
