Nell'applicazione Proton Authenticator presentata la scorsa settimana, utilizzata per l'autenticazione tramite password usa e getta, \u00e8 stato riscontrato un problema di privacy: nelle versioni per la piattaforma mobile iOS \u00e8 stato dimenticato di disattivare il log di debug dettagliato, nel quale venivano salvati in chiaro le chiavi segrete originali per la generazione delle password usa e getta. Questo log annullava la crittografia delle chiavi e la limitazione dell'accesso tramite PIN o autenticazione biometrica. Il problema \u00e8 stato risolto nell'aggiornamento 1.1.1. Nelle versioni per Android, veniva salvato solo l'identificatore della chiave, e non la chiave stessa.
