Nell'applicazione Proton Authenticator presentata la scorsa settimana, utilizzata per l'autenticazione tramite codici monouso, \u00e8 stato rilevato un problema di riservatezza \u2014 nelle versioni per la piattaforma mobile iOS \u00e8 stata dimenticata la disabilitazione del log di debug dettagliato, in cui venivano salvate in chiaro le chiavi segrete originali per la generazione dei codici monouso. Tale log annullava la crittografia delle chiavi e le limitazioni di accesso tramite PIN o autenticazione biometrica. Il problema \u00e8 stato risolto nell'aggiornamento 1.1.1. Nelle versioni per Android, nel log veniva salvato solo l'identificatore della chiave, e non la chiave stessa.
