\u00c8 stato pubblicato il primo beta di Term.Everything, un'utilit\u00e0 che consente di visualizzare qualsiasi applicazione grafica all'interno di una finestra dell'emulatore di terminale. Tra l'altro, il programma permette di avviare applicazioni grafiche nel terminale quando si accede a un sistema remoto tramite SSH. Il codice del progetto \u00e8 distribuito sotto licenza AGPL 3.0, \u00e8 scritto in Typescript e viene eseguito utilizzando la piattaforma Bun. Le build pronte sono generate nel formato AppImage. <\/p>\n

Dal punto di vista tecnico, Term.Everything \u00e8 un compositore di server basato sul protocollo Wayland, che organizza l'output non verso lo schermo, ma all'interno di una finestra del terminale. Per convertire le immagini in caratteri Unicode appropriati con sequenze di escape ANSI, che simulano la grafica nel terminale, si utilizza la libreria chafa. Le pressioni dei tasti e gli eventi di movimento del mouse nel terminale vengono tradotti in eventi di input Wayland. <\/p>\n

Su terminali che supportano l'estensione per l'output della grafica raster, come kitty, Ghostty, Konsole, wezterm e iTerm2, l'output \u00e8 quasi indistinguibile dall'apertura in una normale finestra.
