Come il modello precedente, anche nel nuovo router viene utilizzato un fork proprietario della piattaforma open source OpenWRT, fornito con il nome Turris OS. Il dispositivo \u00e8 stato messo in vendita al prezzo di 561 euro. Il supporto e il rilascio degli aggiornamenti del firmware saranno effettuati per 10 anni.      <\/p>\n<p>Il dispositivo va oltre il tradizionale router e punto di accesso wireless, e si posiziona come centro digitale per la casa e le piccole\/medie imprese. Oltre alle capacit\u00e0 di rete, offre strumenti per l'implementazione di storage di rete (NAS, Network-Attached Storage), <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"287\">VPN<\/a>, backup, creazione di un server di stampa e avvio di applicazioni server personalizzate.       <\/p>\n<p>Sulla base della piattaforma Sentinel, il firmware implementa un firewall dinamico con elementi per la rilevazione delle intrusioni e il monitoraggio dei flussi di traffico. Il firmware viene aggiornato automaticamente senza richiedere alcuna azione da parte dell'utente. Il controllo avviene tramite interfaccia web o riga di comando.     <\/p>\n<p>Tra le caratteristiche del firmware spicca anche la possibilit\u00e0 integrata di eseguire contenitori Linux utilizzando gli strumenti LXC.
