Canonical ha annunciato un periodo di 15 anni per la formazione di aggiornamenti per le versioni LTS di Ubuntu. Questo prolungamento riguarder\u00e0 tutte le versioni LTS attuali, a partire da Ubuntu 14.04. Pertanto, il supporto per Ubuntu 14.04 \u00e8 stato esteso fino ad aprile 2029, gli aggiornamenti per Ubuntu 24.04 saranno forniti fino al 2039, Ubuntu 22.04 fino al 2037, Ubuntu 20.04 fino al 2035 e cos\u00ec via.
