Sono stati pubblicati gli aggiornamenti correttivi per le versioni supportate del server di posta Postfix 3.x \u2014 3.10.7, 3.9.8, 3.8.14 e 3.7.19. Nelle nuove versioni \u00e8 stato risolto un problema di compilazione dai sorgenti, che si presentava nelle nuove versioni delle distribuzioni Linux che erano passate al set di compilatori GCC 15, ora per impostazione predefinita tradotto per utilizzare lo standard C23. <\/p>\n

Il problema \u00e8 che nello standard C23 \u00e8 stata definita una nuova parola chiave riservata \u00abbool\u00bb, che \u00e8 associata a un tipo di dimensione 1 byte. Nel codice di Postfix \u00e8 stato definito un proprio tipo \u00abbool\u00bb, associato a un tipo \u00abint\u00bb di dimensione 4 byte. Tentare di compilare Postfix con un compilatore in modalit\u00e0 C23 provoca un errore a causa della ridefinizione del tipo \u00abbool\u00bb. Nella versione in sviluppo di Postfix 3.11 \u00e8 stato implementato il supporto per il nuovo tipo \u00abbool\u00bb. Dato che la modifica legata al supporto del nuovo tipo \u00abbool\u00bb comprende molte righe di codice, si \u00e8 deciso di non portarla nelle versioni stabili, ma di aggiungere il flag di compilazione \u00ab-std=gnu17\u00bb quando si utilizza gcc e clang per utilizzare lo standard C17.
