Nel regolamento per lo sviluppo di estensioni per GNOME Shell \u00e8 stato aggiunto un nuovo punto che vieta la pubblicazione di estensioni generate tramite strumenti AI. Il progetto non accetter\u00e0 pi\u00f9 estensioni che presentano segni di utilizzo dell'AI per la generazione del codice, come inserimenti privi di significato nel codice, incoerenze nello stile, uso forzato dell'API e presenza di commenti con suggerimenti per l'AI. <\/p>\n

La causa dell'introduzione di queste nuove normative \u00e8 il crescente numero di casi, verificatisi negli ultimi due mesi, di pubblicazione di estensioni contenenti codice spazzatura non elaborato, la cui analisi richiede molto tempo alle persone che si occupano della revisione delle estensioni. In alcuni casi, i tentativi di chiarire alcune domande sorte durante la revisione di tali estensioni hanno portato gli autori a inviare risposte anch'esse generate dall'AI. <\/p>\n
