Nelle regole di sviluppo delle estensioni per GNOME Shell \u00e8 stato aggiunto un nuovo punto che vieta la pubblicazione di estensioni generate tramite strumenti AI. Il progetto non accetter\u00e0 pi\u00f9 estensioni che presentano segni di utilizzo di AI per la generazione di codice, come inserimenti privi di significato, incoerenze stilistiche, uso forzato delle API e commenti con suggerimenti per AI. <\/p>\n

La ragione dell'introduzione dei nuovi requisiti sono stati i casi sempre pi\u00f9 frequenti, negli ultimi due mesi, di pubblicazione di estensioni con codice spazzatura non elaborato, il cui esame richiede molto tempo a coloro che si occupano di recensire le estensioni. In alcuni casi, i tentativi di chiarire alcune domande emerse durante la revisione di tali estensioni hanno portato gli autori a inviare risposte anch'esse generate da AI. <\/p>\n
