Il sistema operativo \u00e8 basato su Debian 13, viene fornito con l'ambiente desktop GNOME 48 ed \u00e8 progettato per consentire l'accesso anonimo a Internet utilizzando gli strumenti di Tor. Tutte le connessioni, ad eccezione del traffico attraverso la rete Tor, sono bloccate per default dal filtro dei pacchetti. Durante il salvataggio dei dati utente tra le sessioni viene applicata la crittografia. \u00c8 disponibile un'immagine ISO di 2 GB, in grado di funzionare in modalit\u00e0 Live.       <\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  \u00c8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di salvare su unit\u00e0 USB le impostazioni della lingua, la disposizione della tastiera e i formati, con il loro ripristino automatico dopo il riavvio.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rilascio del distribuzione Tails 7.4\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1b32cc57f27742b3ba571b74f598028e.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiornate le versioni di Tor Browser 15.0.4, Thunderbird 140.6.0 e del kernel Linux 6.12.63.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per motivi di sicurezza \u00e8 stata interrotta la distribuzione dei file torrent per il download del sistema operativo tramite BitTorrent.
