Esso bypassa completamente lo stack tradizionale delle operazioni di input\/output basato su blocchi, consentendo la lettura dei file mediante il caricamento diretto in memoria, senza caching delle pagine e senza copie.<\/p>\n<p>Caratteristiche:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> la lettura dei file avviene attraverso il caricamento diretto dalla memoria, senza duplicazioni nella cache;<\/li>\n<li> supporto per la memoria GPU, FPGA e dispositivi CXL tramite DMA;<\/li>\n<li> DAXFS \u00e8 stato originariamente progettato per ambienti multi-core, dove pi\u00f9 istanze del kernel condividono una singola area di memoria fisica;<\/li>\n<li> utilizza un formato di immagine di sola lettura che non richiede l'allocazione di memoria durante l'esecuzione e una gestione complessa dei dispositivi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La proposta \u00e8 stata inviata alla Linux Kernel Mailing List.
