Linus Torvalds ha rifiutato di accettare il set di modifiche destinato al kernel 7.0 da parte del manutentore del sottomodulo MMC (MultiMedia Card), definendo la patch inviata, che non si compila nemmeno, \"spazzatura completa\". Secondo lui, le modifiche non erano state testate in precedenza nel ramo linux-next e non avevano superato il test di compilazione. <\/p>\n

La compilazione \u00e8 terminata con un errore a causa di una ridefinizione della variabile.
