Dopo alcuni mesi di sviluppo, \u00e8 stato rilasciato LineageOS 23.2, basato su Android 16 QPR2. Poich\u00e9 Google ha adottato un ciclo di aggiornamenti di 6 mesi, anche LineageOS si adegua, fatta eccezione per le patch di sicurezza, che vengono rilasciate mensilmente.<\/p>\n

Tra le novit\u00e0 ci sono Material 3 Expressive e alcune applicazioni aggiornate per questo design da parte del team di Lineage: Twelve, ExactCalculator e Deskclock. Anche l'installer degli aggiornamenti (Updater) \u00e8 stato aggiornato, ma le modifiche non sono incluse in questo rilascio.<\/p>\n

Dopo 7 anni in Lineage e 5 anni in Cyanogen Mod, Rashid ha lasciato il progetto. Ma al suo posto \u00e8 arrivato Nolen Johnson (npjohnson).<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stata anche scritta la documentazione per l'uso dei target generici con Android Studio. Inoltre, questi possono essere utilizzati per costruire GSI per dispositivi mobili, ma non ci saranno build ufficiali \u2014 sar\u00e0 necessario compilarle manualmente. I target dell'emulatore si trovano in lineage_sdk_$arch, e GSI in lineage_gsi_$arch. Sono stati inoltre creati target sperimentali per QEMU e aggiunto il supporto per Android TV e Android Automotive.<\/p>\n
