Sono stati presentati aggiornamenti per i firmware Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.2 e 20.04 OTA-12, basati sulle basi di pacchetti di Ubuntu 24.04 e Ubuntu 20.04. I firmware sono sviluppati dal progetto UBports, che ha preso in carico lo sviluppo della piattaforma mobile Ubuntu Touch dopo che Canonical si \u00e8 disimpegnata. Tra le modifiche in Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.2: Stabilit\u00e0 migliorata durante l'uso di VoLTE (Voice over LTE), tecnologia per la trasmissione vocale sulle reti LTE. Risolti i problemi di avvio sui dispositivi Sony Xperia X, cambio degli operatori per la trasmissione di dati su smartphone con due SIM e ricezione di messaggi broadcast dalle reti mobili.
