Ad esempio, la partizione \/var\/log \u00e8 montata utilizzando zram e memorizzata in RAM in formato compresso, con un salvataggio dei dati su disco una volta al giorno o al termine delle operazioni. La partizione \/tmp \u00e8 montata tramite tmpfs.     <\/p>\n<p> Il progetto supporta oltre 30 varianti del kernel Linux per diverse piattaforme ARM e ARM64. \u00c8 fornito un SDK per semplificare la creazione di immagini di sistema, pacchetti e versioni del distributore. Per lo swap viene utilizzato ZSWAP. All'accesso SSH \u00e8 prevista l'opzione di utilizzare l'autenticazione a due fattori. Include un emulatore box64, che consente di eseguire programmi compilati per processori basati su architettura x86. La distribuzione \u00e8 costruita sulla base dei pacchetti di Debian ed \u00e8 disponibile in build per oltre 50 schede. DietPi pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato anche per creare ambienti compatti per <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/vps\/\" title=\"di macchine virtuali\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">di macchine virtuali<\/a> e PC tradizionali basati sull'architettura x86_64. Le build per le schede hanno una dimensione ridotta (in media 130 MB) rispetto a Raspberry Pi OS e Armbian. L'insieme degli strumenti per la creazione e la manutenzione della distribuzione \u00e8 distribuito con licenza GPLv2.    <\/p>\n<p>Il progetto \u00e8 ottimizzato per un consumo minimo di risorse e sviluppa diverse utilit\u00e0 proprie: un'interfaccia per l'installazione delle applicazioni DietPi-Software, il configuratore DietPi-Config, il sistema di backup DietPi-Backup, il meccanismo di registrazione temporanea DietPi-Ramlog (supporto per rsyslog incluso), l'interfaccia per la gestione delle priorit\u00e0 dei processi DietPi-Services e il sistema di aggiornamento DietPi-Update. Le utilit\u00e0 forniscono un'interfaccia utente da console con menu e dialoghi basati su whiptail. \u00c8 supportata una modalit\u00e0 di installazione completamente automatizzata, che consente di
