L'organizzazione CZ.NIC, che \u00e8 il registrar del dominio di primo livello ceco CZ e sviluppatore del server DNS open-source Knot, ha presentato il router Turris Omnia NG Wired, costruito sulla stessa piattaforma del router wireless Turris Omnia NG lanciato lo scorso anno, ed \u00e8 una versione economica di quest'ultimo. Il nuovo dispositivo \u00e8 destinato all'uso in ambienti server, ha un fattore di forma per l'installazione in rack (Rack-Mount) ed \u00e8 dotato di 2 porte Ethernet 10G SFP+ e 4 porte 2.5G RJ45. Il dispositivo \u00e8 stato messo in vendita al prezzo di 420 euro. <\/p>\n

Come nella precedente versione, il nuovo router utilizza un raffreddamento passivo silenzioso e offre tre slot M.2, attraverso i quali \u00e8 possibile collegare un modulo Wi-Fi, un'unit\u00e0 NVMe e un modem 4G\/5G. \u00c8 presente anche uno schermo a colori con risoluzione 240 × 240, che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per visualizzare statistiche, notifiche e monitoraggio. L'hardware (schemi) include un CPU quad-core Qualcomm IPQ 9574 (ARMv8 Cortex A-73, 2.2 GHz), 2 GB di RAM, 8 GB di eMMC, 2 porte a 10 Gbps (SFP+), 4 × 2.5 Gbps (RJ45), 3 slot M.2 (PCI Express 3.0 2x) e 2 porte USB 3.0. \u00c8 possibile collegare opzionalmente moduli Wi-Fi 6 e Wi-Fi 7 per trasformare il dispositivo in un punto di accesso wireless. <\/p>\n

Nel firmware \u00e8 coinvolto un'implementazione personalizzata dell'aperta piattaforma OpenWRT, fornita sotto il nome Turris OS. Oltre all'uso per la creazione di un router e di un punto di accesso wireless, il dispositivo pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato come centro digitale per la casa e piccole\/medie imprese, adatto al dispiegamento di archiviazione di rete (NAS, Network-Attached Storage), VPN<\/a>, backup, creazione di un server di stampa, avvio di vari servizi di rete. <\/p>\n

Sulla base della piattaforma Sentinel, nel firmware \u00e8 implementato un firewall dinamico con elementi per la rilevazione delle intrusioni e il monitoraggio del traffico.
