MicroCloud \u00e8 disponibile come pacchetto snap, contenente i componenti necessari per gestire le operazioni dei nodi del cluster. Il toolkit \u00e8 scritto in Go e distribuito sotto licenza AGPL 3.0.       <\/p>\n<p>MicroCloud consente di creare cluster con un numero di nodi che va da 3 a 50, garantendo la tolleranza ai guasti. Lo stack software per la gestione del cluster si basa sul toolkit LXD, sulla piattaforma per la creazione di reti virtuali OVN (Open Virtual Network) e su uno storage distribuito e resiliente Ceph. La configurazione di LXD, Ceph e OVN su tutti i nodi del cluster avviene in modo automatico. Il sistema operativo principale considerato \u00e8 la distribuzione Ubuntu Server, ma il toolkit non \u00e8 legato a Ubuntu e pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato con qualsiasi distribuzione che supporti l'installazione di pacchetti snap (Arch Linux, CentOS, Fedora, Debian, openSUSE, RHEL, ecc.).      <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"La societ\u00e0 Canonical ha rilasciato MicroCloud 3, un toolkit per il dispiegamento di cluster.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/546f5847d9561972a89b17fd0dbdffde.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto\" \/>      <\/p>\n<p>Per identificare i nuovi <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\" title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">server<\/a> Nella rete possono essere collegati al cluster utilizzando mDNS, che consente di configurare l'intero cluster eseguendo un solo comando \u00abmicrocloud init\u00bb su uno dei nodi e il comando \u00absudo microcloud join\u00bb sugli altri nodi, a condizione di aver precedentemente installato i pacchetti snap lxd, microceph, microcloud e microovn. Una volta eseguito il comando \u00abmicrocloud init\u00bb, l'utility identificher\u00e0 la presenza di altri server nella rete locale, richieder\u00e0 di aggiungere i dischi allo storage condiviso Ceph e proporr\u00e0 di configurare i parametri della rete virtuale. Per aggiungere nodi aggiuntivi dopo il completamento dell'inizializzazione, \u00e8 possibile utilizzare il comando \u00abmicrocloud add\u00bb. La configurazione del cluster pu\u00f2 essere salvata nel formato YAML per il successivo dispiegamento di sistemi simili.    <\/p>\n<p>Lo storage file system generale \u00e8 creato includendo la replicazione e la tolleranza ai guasti, consentendo di non perdere dati nel caso di guasti di singoli nodi, grazie alla conservazione di pi\u00f9 istanze dei dati su nodi diversi. Per implementare uno storage basato su Ceph in un cluster, oltre ai dischi locali, devono essere presenti su tre computer diversi almeno tre dischi separati dedicati allo storage distribuito dei dati.    <\/p>\n<p>Dopo che il cluster \u00e8 pronto, gli utenti hanno la possibilit\u00e0 di eseguire le proprie applicazioni utilizzando contenitori o <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\" title=\"macchine virtuali\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">macchine virtuali<\/a>, e anche la possibilit\u00e0 di accedere allo storage condiviso Ceph e agli strumenti di gestione centralizzati basati su LXD. \u00c8 possibile gestire in modo flessibile le risorse fornite di CPU, memoria e input\/output, incluso il passaggio di dispositivi USB, GPU e unit\u00e0 di storage. Gli ambienti isolati e virtuali possono essere trasferiti tra nodi in modalit\u00e0 di migrazione live e salvati utilizzando snapshot. Questo permette di accedere immediatamente all'interfaccia web LXD, dove \u00e8 possibile creare e configurare nodi, reti, pool di archiviazione, immagini, gruppi di autorizzazione, e cos\u00ec via.
