La piattaforma \u00e8 fondata da Ga\u00ebl Duval, creatore della distribuzione Mandrake Linux. Il progetto supporta 287 modelli di smartphone e crea build di firmware per i pi\u00f9 popolari. Sono state preparate edizioni personalizzate per gli smartphone OnePlus, Fairphone, Teracube, HIROH e Pixel, distribuite con firmware \u2044e\u2044OS preinstallato sotto i marchi Murena One, Murena 2, Murena Fairphone 4\u20445\u20446, Murena Teracube 2e, Murena Pixel 5\u20447 e Murena SHIFTphone 8.<\/p>\n<p>Il firmware \u2044e\u2044OS \u00e8 in sviluppo come un ramo della piattaforma LineageOS (basata su Android), privo di collegamenti ai servizi e all'infrastruttura di Google per evitare la trasmissione di telemetria a Google e migliorare il livello di privacy. Tra le altre cose, viene bloccata anche la trasmissione implicita di informazioni, ad esempio, le richieste ai server di Google durante il controllo della disponibilit\u00e0 della rete, la risoluzione DNS e la determinazione dell'orario esatto. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">server<\/a> Google.<\/p>\n<p>La fornitura include il pacchetto microG, che offre alternative indipendenti ai servizi di Google, consentendo di evitare l'installazione di componenti proprietari. Invece del motore di ricerca Google, viene offerto il servizio di metaricerca Murena Find basato sul motore di ricerca Qwant.<\/p>\n<p>Per la sincronizzazione dell'orario esatto, invece di utilizzare NTP-<a href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\">server<\/a> le query Google sono inviate a server della collezione NTP Pool, e vengono utilizzati i server DNS del provider attuale invece dei server DNS di Google (8.8.8.8). Nel browser web \u00e8 abilitato di default un blocco della pubblicit\u00e0 e degli script di tracciamento. Per la sincronizzazione dei file e dei dati delle applicazioni, \u00e8 stato sviluppato un servizio proprietario compatibile con infrastrutture basate su Nextcloud. I componenti server sono basati su software open source e sono disponibili per l'installazione su sistemi controllati dall'utente.<\/p>\n<p>L'interfaccia utente include un ambiente dedicato per l'esecuzione delle applicazioni BlissLauncher, un sistema di notifiche migliorato, un nuovo schermo di blocco e altro design stilistico. In BlissLauncher \u00e8 stato utilizzato un set di icone automaticamente scalabili sviluppato per \/e\/OS e una selezione separata di widget (ad esempio, un widget per mostrare le previsioni del tempo).<\/p>\n<p>Il progetto include anche un proprio gestore di autenticazione, che consente di utilizzare un unico account (user@murena.io) per tutti i servizi, registrato durante la prima installazione. L'account pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per accedere al proprio ambiente da altri dispositivi o via Web.
