I problemi sono stati risolti nella versione dnsmasq 2.92rel2. Le correzioni sono disponibili anche sotto forma di patch.             <\/p>\n<p>Problemi identificati:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-4892 &#8212; overflow di buffer nell'implementazione di DHCPv6, che consente a un attaccante con accesso alla rete locale di eseguire codice con privilegi di root tramite l'invio di un pacchetto DHCPv6 appositamente formattato. L'overflow \u00e8 causato dal fatto che durante la registrazione del CLID DHCPv6 nel buffer non viene considerato che nel pacchetto i dati sono memorizzati in formato esadecimale, dove si utilizzano tre byte &#171;%xx&#187; per ogni byte effettivo del CLID (ad esempio, la registrazione di un CLID di 1000 byte comporta la scrittura di 3000 byte).\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-2291 &#8212; overflow di buffer nella funzione extract_name(), che consente a un attaccante di inserire voci fasulle nella cache DNS e ottenere un reindirizzamento. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/domain\/\" title=\"di dominio\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">di dominio<\/a> su un altro IP. Il sovraccarico \u00e8 avvenuto a causa dell'allocazione di un buffer senza considerare l'escaping di alcuni caratteri nella rappresentazione interna del nome di dominio in dnsmasq.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-4893 &#8212; perdita di informazioni che consente di bypassare la verifica inviando un pacchetto DNS appositamente formattato con informazioni sulla sottorete del cliente (RFC 7871). La vulnerabilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per alterare il percorso della risposta DNS e reindirizzare gli utenti a un dominio controllato dall'attaccante. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 causata dal fatto che nella funzione check_source() veniva passata la lunghezza della registrazione OPT invece della lunghezza del pacchetto, il che portava la funzione a restituire sempre un risultato di verifica positivo.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-4891 \u2014 lettura da un'area al di fuori del limite del buffer durante la validazione di DNSSEC, che causa una fuga di dati dalla memoria del processo nella risposta a una richiesta DNS appositamente formattata.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-4890 \u2014 ricorsione durante la validazione di DNSSEC, che consente di provocare un'interruzione del servizio inviando un pacchetto DNS appositamente formattato.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-5172 \u2014 lettura da un'area al di fuori del buffer nella funzione extract_addresses(), che causa un arresto anomalo durante l'elaborazione di risposte DNS appositamente formattate.  <\/ul>\n<p>Lo stato della risoluzione delle vulnerabilit\u00e0 nei pacchetti pu\u00f2 essere valutato su queste pagine (se la pagina non \u00e8 disponibile, significa che gli sviluppatori del pacchetto non hanno ancora iniziato a esaminare il problema): Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE, RHEL, Gentoo, Arch, Fedora, OpenWRT, FreeBSD. Il progetto Dnsmasq \u00e8 utilizzato nella piattaforma Android e in distribuzioni specializzate come OpenWrt e DD-WRT, oltre che nel firmware di molti produttori di router wireless. Nelle distribuzioni comuni, Dnsmasq pu\u00f2 essere installato utilizzando libvirt per fornire un servizio DNS in <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\"
