Questo formato \u00e8 ampiamente utilizzato nelle applicazioni di apprendimento automatico e accelerazione AI, consentendo di ridurre le esigenze di memoria e aumentare le prestazioni computazionali rispetto a FP32. Alcune estensioni appariranno nelle future versioni di DXVK, VKD3D-Proton e nei motori di gioco basati su Unreal Engine e Unity.<\/p>\n<p>Si segnala inoltre che Khronos continua a lavorare verso una graduale integrazione dei carichi di lavoro grafici e AI all'interno di Vulkan.
