\u00c8 stato pubblicato un aggiornamento correttivo per il linguaggio di programmazione Python 3.14.5, che oltre a correggere errori e vulnerabilit\u00e0 minori, ha riportato il vecchio garbage collector utilizzato prima della versione 3.14.x. Le motivazioni per questo cambiamento significativo, inusuale per le versioni intermedie, includono lamentele degli utenti riguardo a un notevole aumento del consumo di memoria dopo la migrazione dei sistemi di produzione alla versione 3.14 e la comparsa di perdite di memoria. <\/p>\n

Oltre al ripristino del nuovo garbage collector nella versione 3.14, \u00e8 stato deciso di non utilizzarlo nella prossima versione significativa 3.15, attualmente in fase di beta testing. Ricordiamo che nella versione 3.14 il garbage collector ciclico \u00e8 stato sostituito da uno incrementale, in cui la raccolta dei rifiuti degli oggetti a lungo termine avviene a piccoli passi e meno frequentemente rispetto al trattamento delle nuove generazioni di oggetti, che solitamente vengono liberati pi\u00f9 spesso. Questo ha permesso di ridurre notevolmente il tempo massimo di sospensione dell'esecuzione delle applicazioni con un numero molto elevato di oggetti in memoria.
