Recentemente sono state accettate due importanti modifiche nel ramo principale. La prima riguarda le immagini BootCD e LiveCD, che ora sono state unite in un'unica immagine (<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/reactos\/reactos\/pull\/7313\">PR #7313<\/a>). La seconda \u00e8 un nuovo stack di archiviazione ATA, consapevole del Plug and Play, per i dispositivi ATA e AHCI, con compatibilit\u00e0 a livello di NT6+.<\/p>\n<p>Per ora, il LiveCD separato esiste ancora, ma l'arrivo dell'immagine universale di ReactOS significa che testare e installare ReactOS \u00e8 diventato pi\u00f9 semplice, e l'interfaccia di installazione testuale tradizionale probabilmente andr\u00e0 presto nel passato grazie al nuovo installer completamente grafico dalla modalit\u00e0 Live dell'immagine unificata (<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lntLjzHtZ58\">youtube<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>L'arrivo del nuovo stack di archiviazione ATA porter\u00e0 a una compatibilit\u00e0 notevolmente migliore con l'hardware reale, inclusa la possibilit\u00e0 di installare il sistema e avviarsi da un numero maggiore di dispositivi e perfino da SCSI (<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/reactos\/reactos\/pull\/8932\">PR #8932<\/a>), rispetto al vecchio driver UniATA.<\/p>\n<p>Insieme, queste due modifiche dovrebbero avvicinare il processo di installazione e utilizzo di ReactOS a quello di Windows, cos\u00ec come in molte distribuzioni Linux.
