Il progetto GNOME ha pubblicato un rapporto settimanale in cui si evidenzia il porting dell'applicazione File Previewer (sushi), utilizzata in GNOME per l'anteprima dei contenuti dei file, sulla libreria GTK4, nei componenti dell'interfaccia utente libadwaita, nel backend per il caricamento isolato delle immagini Glycin e nel linguaggio di progettazione dell'interfaccia Blueprint. In File Previewer \u00e8 stata anche implementata la supporto per la modalit\u00e0 scura e le barre degli strumenti flottanti, con un codice aggiornato per l'utilizzo dei moduli EcmaScript.<\/p>\n

Per il motore JavaScript GJS, utilizzato in GNOME Shell, Polari e GNOME Documents, si sta sviluppando il framework gjsify, che aggiunge il supporto per il linguaggio TypeScript. Tra i recenti progressi di gjsify, si segnala la possibilit\u00e0 di eseguire il compilatore TypeScript all'interno di GJS, il che consente di evitare l'uso di Node.js per eseguire tsc. \u00c8 stato aggiunto il comando incorporato \u00abgjsify install\u00bb, che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato al posto di \u00abnpm install\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stata pubblicata la versione 1.4.0 del lettore musicale Vinyl, scritto in Rust, che \u00e8 diventata la prima applicazione multimediale di GNOME a supportare il caricamento dei testi delle canzoni direttamente dai tag ID3v2. Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata anche introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di caricare copertine individuali per ogni traccia, \u00e8 stata aggiunta una button per aprire la directory con la traccia corrente e sono state implementate delle tooltip, ora \u00e8 possibile effettuare ricerche per estensione.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stato pubblicato il primo rilascio dell'applicazione Contributor Atlas, che presenta una mappa interattiva visuale dei partecipanti allo sviluppo e della storia del progetto GIMP.
