Il progetto GNOME ha pubblicato un rapporto settimanale in cui si segnala il porting dell'applicazione File Previewer (sushi), utilizzata in GNOME per l'anteprima del contenuto dei file, sulla libreria GTK4, i componenti dell'interfaccia libadwaita, il backend di caricamento immagini isolato Glycin e il linguaggio di costruzione dell'interfaccia Blueprint. In File Previewer \u00e8 stata anche implementata la compatibilit\u00e0 con il tema scuro e le toolbar galleggianti, e il codice \u00e8 stato modernizzato per utilizzare i moduli EcmaScript.<\/p>\n

Per il motore JavaScript GJS, utilizzato in GNOME Shell, Polari e GNOME Documents, si sta sviluppando il framework gjsify, che aggiunge supporto per il linguaggio TypeScript. Tra le ultime novit\u00e0 in gjsify, \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di eseguire il compilatore TypeScript all'interno di GJS, consentendo di non dover utilizzare Node.js per avviare tsc. \u00c8 stata aggiunta una nuova comando integrato \"gjsify install\", che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata al posto di \"npm install\".<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stato pubblicato il lettore musicale Vinyl 1.4.0, scritto in Rust e diventato la prima applicazione multimediale GNOME a supportare il caricamento dei testi delle canzoni direttamente dai tag ID3v2. Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata anche introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di caricare immagini di copertina individuali per ogni brano, \u00e8 stato aggiunto un pulsante per aprire la cartella del brano attuale, implementate le tooltip e la possibilit\u00e0 di cercare in base alle estensioni.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stata pubblicata la prima versione dell'applicazione Contributor Atlas con una mappa interattiva visiva dei partecipanti allo sviluppo e della storia del progetto GIMP.
