\u00c8 stata identificata una vulnerabilit\u00e0 nel motore di creazione forum phpBB che consente, inviando una sola richiesta HTTP, di connettersi alla sessione di qualsiasi utente del forum. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifesta nella configurazione di phpBB per impostazione predefinita. Il problema \u00e8 stato risolto nella versione phpBB 3.3.17.<\/p>\n

Con un attacco agli utenti comuni, \u00e8 possibile accedere alla corrispondenza privata e inviare messaggi a nome dell'utente. Attaccando moderatori e amministratori, \u00e8 possibile eliminare messaggi altrui e visualizzare Indirizzi IP<\/a> e email, leggere la corrispondenza privata, ma non \u00e8 possibile accedere all'interfaccia di amministrazione e ottenere accesso all'host. <\/p>\n

Non vengono forniti dettagli sulla vulnerabilit\u00e0, ma utilizzando l'AI basata sulla correzione \u00e8 stato ricreato un metodo di sfruttamento, che si basa sull'accesso al gestore «login_link» con il metodo di autenticazione «auth_provider=apache» e l'inserimento del login tramite Basic Auth, dopo di che PHP imposter\u00e0 la variabile d'ambiente «PHP_AUTH_USER=login», e phpBB estrarr\u00e0 da essa il login dell'utente senza controllare la password.
