Non si tratta ancora di un supporto completo per MacBook o Mac mini sotto Linux, ma solo delle prime fasi \u2014 la possibilit\u00e0 di avviare il kernel e avere una base per sviluppi futuri.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <noindex><\/p>\n<p>Le patch sono state inviate dalla sviluppatrice Yureka Lilian. In <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/lore.kernel.org\/asahi\/20260705-apple-m4-initial-devicetrees-v1-0-e5655ee56523@cyberchaos.dev\/\">descrizione della serie<\/a> si afferma che essa aggiunge iniziali Device Tree e dt-bindings per i dispositivi su Apple M4 e in gran parte ripete il lavoro recente su M3, incluso nel ciclo Linux 7.2. Questo set copre solo il minimo necessario di hardware, che serve come base per lo sviluppo futuro.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <noindex><\/p>\n<p>A differenza del rilascio utente di Asahi Linux, queste modifiche sono destinate principalmente all'upstream del kernel. Non \u00e8 ancora presente supporto per grafica, desktop completo, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NVMe e altri componenti importanti: in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/asahilinux.org\/docs\/platform\/feature-support\/m4\/\">documentazione di Asahi Linux per M4<\/a> la maggior parte dei componenti chiave \u00e8 ancora contrassegnata come TBA, e l'installer per i dispositivi M4 \u00e8 indicato come non disponibile.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 importante notare che la maggior parte del lavoro per rendere M4 avviabile \u00e8 ora legata non solo al kernel, ma anche al bootloader m1n1.
