Il progetto \u00e8 orientato alla disposizione a mosaico (tiling) delle finestre, ma supporta anche la disposizione classica delle finestre, la raggruppamento delle finestre a tab, la modalit\u00e0 pseudo-mosaico e l'espansione a schermo intero delle finestre. Il codice \u00e8 scritto in C++ e distribuito con licenza BSD.<\/p>\n<p>Vengono forniti strumenti per la creazione di interfacce visivamente attraenti: gradienti nel bordo delle finestre, sfocatura dello sfondo, effetti animati e ombre. Per estendere la funzionalit\u00e0 possono essere collegati plugin, e per il controllo esterno del funzionamento \u00e8 previsto un IPC basato su socket. La configurazione avviene tramite un file di configurazione, le modifiche nel quale vengono applicate al volo senza necessit\u00e0 di riavvio. Tra le funzionalit\u00e0 ci sono anche: desktop virtuali creati dinamicamente; modalit\u00e0 di disposizione degli elementi sullo schermo; gestione globale delle scorciatoie da tastiera; controllo tramite gesti sul touchpad\/sullo schermo tattile.<\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono state proposte 11 varianti di shader per il blur dello sfondo e offerta la
