Tra le caratteristiche di PorteuX si evidenziano la presenza di ambienti preconfigurati basati su desktop Cinnamon, COSMIC, GNOME, KDE, LXDE, LXQt, MATE e Xfce, l'inclusione dell'accelerazione hardware per la gestione dei file multimediali su GPU Intel, AMD e NVIDIA, il caricamento in modalit\u00e0 Live in 3 secondi, un'immagine di sistema in modalit\u00e0 di sola lettura con installazione di applicazioni dal catalogo PorteuX App Store, il supporto per il rollback delle installazioni di aggiornamenti, la modalit\u00e0 di avvio in RAM (copy2ram) e la possibilit\u00e0 di avvio via rete. Sono stati creati i file immagine iso di dimensione 625 MB (cinnamon) e 801 MB (cosmic).<\/p>\n<p>Principali modifiche:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata effettuata una revisione del codice e la correzione degli errori nell'installatore, initrd, script rc e script porteux.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nei pacchetti con Xfce \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di spostare file con il mouse da una finestra all'altra senza switchare il focus di input.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata ottimizzata l'opzione di compilazione per migliorare le prestazioni.\n<li class=\"l\"> Il kernel Linux \u00e8 stato aggiornato alla versione 7.3.1. Sono state migliorate le prestazioni dell'implementazione di zstd e delle operazioni di lettura dalla cache di pagina.<br \/>\nPer impostazione predefinita \u00e8 stato abilitato il supporto per il meccanismo io_uring, necessario per alcuni gestori di finestre come jay.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> L'utilit\u00e0 wget \u00e8 stata sostituita con wget2.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nella build con desktop COSMIC \u00e8 stato aggiunto il visualizzatore di immagini cosmic-viewer al posto di gpicview.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel gestore di file dolphin \u00e8 stata attivata la generazione di miniature per file PDF.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono stati aggiunti i firmware per i chip Bluetooth Qualcomm e le schede audio Cirrus.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunte le dipendenze mancanti per il supporto dell'API Vulkan nel lettore multimediale mpv.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il pacchetto a 32 bit gcc15-compat.\n<li class=\"l\"> Dall'ambiente basato su KDE sono stati rimossi breeze-grub, gcc-gfortran,
