Il codice sorgente del progetto \u00e8 scritto in linguaggio C ed \u00e8 disponibile con licenza GPLv2. <\/p>\n<p>Asterisk 24 \u00e8 classificato come una release con supporto esteso (LTS), gli aggiornamenti a essa relativi verranno rilasciati per cinque anni invece dei consueti due anni delle normali release. Il supporto per l'ultima versione LTS Asterisk 22 continuer\u00e0 fino a ottobre 2029, mentre per la versione Asterisk 20 fino a ottobre 2027.
