Questo interfaccia interagisce con due componenti dell'GPU integrata: Slice Common e la cache di terzo livello. La grafica avr\u00e0 una propria cache L3 di 3 MB, separata dalla cache del processore. La connessione tra GTI e ci\u00f2 che Intel chiama SubSlice \u2014 unit\u00e0 di elaborazione indivisibili, in cui sono presenti shader, blocchi di texture, cache delle istruzioni e altri componenti \u2014 avverr\u00e0 tramite la cache di terzo livello. Ogni blocco esecutivo ha una coppia di ALU, ciascuna con quattro pipeline di elaborazione. In totale, la grafica di nuova generazione GT2 offrir\u00e0 64 EU. Negli attuali 'integrati' di tipo GT2 ci sono solo 24 EU, quindi ci sar\u00e0 un aumento del 166 %. Questo influenzer\u00e0 positivamente anche le performance della grafica integrata Intel.
