Nella citt\u00e0 britannica di Reading si \u00e8 concluso un processo<\/noindex> contro Steffan Needham di 36 anni (nella foto). Dopo nove giorni di udienze, l'ex dipendente del reparto IT di una delle aziende locali \u00e8 stato condannato a due anni di reclusione.<\/p>\n

Steffan Needham ha lavorato soltanto quattro settimane presso un'azienda di marketing digitale e software chiamata Voova, dopodich\u00e9 \u00e8 stato licenziato. L\u2019uomo non ha perso tempo. Subito dopo il licenziamento, il 17 e 18 maggio 2016, ha utilizzato le credenziali di un collega per accedere al sistema Amazon Web Services (AWS) e ha eliminato 23 istanze del suo ex datore di lavoro.

\nNeedham si \u00e8 dichiarato non colpevole. A suo carico sono state presentate due accuse: accesso non autorizzato a materiali informatici e modifica non autorizzata di materiali informatici. In entrambi i casi si tratta di una violazione del Computer Misuse Act. Il tribunale ha emesso una condanna nel gennaio scorso.<\/p>\n

Secondo la polizia, a causa dell'attivit\u00e0 distruttiva del dipendente, il suo ex datore di lavoro ha perso contratti significativi con compagnie di trasporto.
