Oggi CD Projekt RED ha tenuto una conferenza dedicata ai risultati per l'anno finanziario 2018. Tra l'altro, l'azienda polacca ha annunciato che sta preparando versioni mobile di Gwent: The Witcher Card Game («Gwent: Il Gioco di Carte di The Witcher»). In autunno 2019, i possessori di iPhone potranno giocarci, mentre pi\u00f9 tardi (la data non \u00e8 ancora stata comunicata) sar\u00e0 il turno degli utenti di smartphone Android.<\/p>\n

«Abbiamo dedicato molto tempo e risorse nella preparazione del porting di Gwent sui smartphone,— ha detto il direttore dello sviluppo del progetto Jason Slama. — Dovevamo non solo mantenere una grafica straordinaria, ma anche implementare il supporto per i dispositivi mobili in molte delle nostre tecnologie, incluso il client GOG Galaxy, su cui si basa il multiplayer di Gwent. Penso che durante lo sviluppo di queste versioni utilizzeremo tutte le migliori innovazioni grafiche e di gameplay del nostro studio».<\/p>\n

Ulteriori dettagli sulle versioni mobile saranno forniti in seguito. Durante la riunione \u00e8 stato annunciato che nell'ultimo trimestre del 2018 Gwent ha generato pi\u00f9 profitti rispetto a Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales («Blood and Wine: The Witcher Stories»), uscito il 23 ottobre su GOG, il 10 novembre su Steam e il 4 dicembre su PlayStation 4 e Xbox One. In The Crimson Curse, players will confront the monsters of the higher vampire Dettlaff van der Eretein, one of the characters from the Blood & Wine expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The official launch of Gwent on PC took place on October 23, 2018, and the game was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 4.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
