L'azienda Scythe ha presentato la nuova versione del suo sistema di raffreddamento a torre di dimensioni relativamente contenute, chiamato Byakko. La novit\u00e0 si chiama Byakko 2 e si differenzia dal suo predecessore principalmente per il nuovo ventilatore e un radiatore di dimensioni maggiori.<\/p>\n

Il sistema di raffreddamento Byakko 2 \u00e8 costruito su tre tubi di calore in rame nichelato con un diametro di 6 mm, assemblati su una base in rame nichelato. Sui tubi \u00e8 stato posizionato un radiatore in alluminio. Le dimensioni della novit\u00e0, inclusa la ventola, sono di 111,5 \u00d7 130 \u00d7 84 mm e pesa 415 g. Rispetto all'originale Byakko, la larghezza del radiatore \u00e8 aumentata di quasi 10 mm e il peso \u00e8 aumentato di 40 g.<\/p>\n

La ventilazione del radiatore \u00e8 affidata a un ventilatore Kaze Flex PWM da 92 mm. \u00c8 in grado di ruotare a una velocit\u00e0 compresa tra 300 e 2300 RPM (controllo tramite PWM), fornendo un flusso d'aria fino a 48,9 CFM, con un livello di rumore che non supera i 28,83 dBA.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 sorprendente che Scythe abbia fornito il nuovo sistema di raffreddamento Byakko 2 con supporti solo per i socket dei processori Intel LGA 775, 1366 e 115x. Non \u00e8 compatibile con i chip Intel pi\u00f9 recenti nei case tipo LGA 20xx, cos\u00ec come con i processori AMD. Non sono disponibili informazioni sul prezzo o sulla data di inizio delle vendite del sistema di raffreddamento Byakko 2.
