La produzione di tubi di carbonio riempiti con particelle magnetiche, tra l'altro, \u00e8 stata realizzata tramite deposizione in un ambiente gassoso \u2014 non c'\u00e8 nulla di nuovo. Quando si applicava un campo magnetico con una frequenza fino a 10 kHz, non si verificava nulla (sottolineando l'effetto superficiale della conducibilit\u00e0 dei nanotubi di carbonio), ma con l'aumento della frequenza oltre i 10 kHz e la riduzione dell'ampiezza del campo, si presentava l'effetto di magnetizzazione del nanotubo di carbonio con particelle magnetiche. Secondo gli scienziati, il campo esterno si allineava con il campo magnetico delle singole particelle, consentendo di conferire al nanotubo una magnetizzazione stabile in una direzione registrazione e lettura per scrivere dati su un array di nanotubi di carbonio, ma promettono di lavorare seriamente in questa direzione, poich\u00e9 col tempo i dati non
