Il primo aprile, molti siti web dedicati all'IT, inclusi i nostri, pubblicano notizie sia vere che scherzose. Tali contenuti variano notevolmente in qualit\u00e0, da fantasie patentemente false a notizie abbastanza credibili. A volte emergono notizie davvero insolite, che meritano di essere scritte anche dopo il primo aprile. Ad esempio, quest'anno \u00e8 emersa una \"notizia\" che NVIDIA ha preparato la scheda video GeForce RTX 2090 basata su due GPU Turing!<\/p>\n

Un appassionato con lo pseudonimo di Captain NA ha pubblicato sul suo canale YouTube un video in cui ha mostrato l'unboxing, lo smontaggio e il test di una nuova scheda grafica GeForce RTX 2090, presuntamente costruita su due processori grafici Turing. E il livello di dettaglio \u00e8 davvero impressionante.<\/p>\n

L'appassionato ha creato alcuni modelli della scheda grafica GeForce RTX 2090, che sembrano molto simili ai veri acceleratori grafici. Solo la lunghezza enorme denuncia la falsit\u00e0 di questi dispositivi a prima vista. \u00c8 interessante notare che uno dei modelli ha anche un circuito stampato dettagliatamente lavorato, su cui sono collocati non solo due GPU, ma anche altri componenti elettronici, circuiti di alimentazione e persino un chip PLX. Naturalmente, tutti gli elementi non sono veri, ma nel video sembrano piuttosto credibili.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 stato creato anche un modello di imballaggio per la \"nuova\" scheda video. Il livello di preparazione di questo fake \u00e8 evidente dal fatto che durante i \"test\" le schede video false avevano ventole funzionanti e il logo GeForce RTX era in grado di illuminarsi con diversi colori RGB. Inoltre, un appassionato ha creato un modello della scheda madre ASUS ROG Dominus, su cui veniva \"avviato\" un gruppo di quattro schede video GeForce RTX 2090, collegate da un enorme ponte NVLink.<\/p>\n

Durante i \"test\", una delle schede video si \u00e8 incendiata a causa dell'elevata carico, ma l'appassionato \u00e8 riuscito a spegnerla piuttosto rapidamente con un metodo \"pionieristico\", quindi l'incendio non ha influito sul funzionamento. I \"test\" hanno mostrato prestazioni eccezionali del nuovo \"mostro a due teste\" di NVIDIA.<\/p>\n
