«Laboratorio Kaspersky» ha svelato una nuova campagna di cyberspionaggio, le cui vittime sono stati utenti e organizzazioni in quasi quaranta paesi in tutto il mondo.<\/p>\n

\"SneakyPastes:<\/p>\n

L'attacco \u00e8 stato chiamato SneakyPastes. L'analisi mostra che l'organizzatore \u00e8 un gruppo di hacker chiamato Gaza, che comprende altre tre bande di malintenzionati — Operation Parliament (attiva dal 2018), Desert Falcons (attiva dal 2015) e MoleRats (in attivit\u00e0 almeno dal 2012).<\/p>\n

Durante la campagna di cyberspionaggio, i malintenzionati hanno attivamente utilizzato metodi di phishing. I criminali hanno sfruttato siti che consentono di diffondere rapidamente file di testo, come i servizi web Pastebin e GitHub, per iniettare segretamente nella sistema della vittima un trojan per l'accesso remoto.<\/p>\n

Con l'aiuto del malware, gli organizzatori dell'attacco rubavano vari dati riservati. In particolare, il trojan univa, compressava, cifrava e inviava ai malintenzionati un'ampia gamma di documenti.<\/p>\n

«Le vittime della campagna sono circa 240 persone e organizzazioni in 39 paesi con interessi politici in Medio Oriente, tra cui enti governativi, partiti politici, ambasciate, rappresentanze diplomatiche, agenzie di stampa, istituzioni educative e sanitarie, banche, appaltatori, attivisti civili e giornalisti», — afferma «Laboratorio Kaspersky».<\/p>\n

Attualmente una parte significativa dell'infrastruttura che i malintenzionati utilizzavano per eseguire gli attacchi \u00e8 stata smantellata. <\/p>\n
