Esattamente 50 anni fa, il 7 aprile 1969, \u00e8 stato pubblicato il Request for Comments: 1. RFC \u00e8 un documento che contiene specifiche tecniche e standard ampiamente utilizzati nella rete mondiale. Ogni documento RFC ha un numero unico, utilizzato per riferirsi ad esso. Attualmente, la pubblicazione principale dei documenti RFC \u00e8 gestita dall'IETF sotto l'egida dell'organizzazione aperta Internet Society (ISOC). \u00c8 proprio l'Internet Society a detenere i diritti su RFC.<\/p>\n

Il documento RFC-1 \u00e8 stato scritto da Steve Crocker (nella foto). All'epoca era un dottorando al Caltech. \u00c8 stato proprio lui a ideare la pubblicazione di documenti tecnici nel formato RFC. Ha anche partecipato alla creazione del 'Network Working Group' dell'ARPA, il quale ha successivamente portato alla creazione dell'IETF. Dal 2002 ha lavorato per l'ICANN e dal 2011 al 2017 ha guidato questa organizzazione.<\/p>\n
