All'inizio di quest'anno, la societ\u00e0 Intel ha presentato uno dei suoi processori desktop pi\u00f9 insoliti e costosi: il Core i9-9990XE. Le caratteristiche innovative non riguardano solo le specifiche, che rivedremo tra poco, ma anche il modo in cui viene distribuito: Intel vende questo processore in aste chiuse a un numero ristretto di produttori di computer desktop. Tuttavia, un negozio piuttosto noto, CaseKing.de, ha deciso di offrire il Core i9-9990XE come prodotto separato.<\/p>\n

Il negozio tedesco specializzato in computer performanti e relativi componenti ha avviato oggi le vendite al dettaglio del processore Core i9-9990XE. Questa novit\u00e0 unica nel suo genere \u00e8 valutata dal venditore a ben 2999 euro. Al momento della scrittura di questo articolo, il processore \u00e8 ancora disponibile e pu\u00f2 essere ordinato. \u00c8 ovvio che il nuovo prodotto \u00e8 offerto nella versione Tray, quindi senza sistema di raffreddamento e probabilmente senza una bella confezione di fabbrica.<\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che il processore Core i9-9990XE \u00e8 realizzato in un package LGA 2066 ed \u00e8 progettato per l'uso su schede madri con chipset Intel X299. Questo chip dispone di 14 core con la possibilit\u00e0 di gestire 28 thread. Una delle caratteristiche principali del processore \u00e8 la sua frequenza di clock: fino a 5,1 GHz in modalit\u00e0 Boost per un singolo core e fino a 5,0 GHz per tutti i core. La frequenza di base \u00e8 di 4,0 GHz. Frequenze cos\u00ec elevate hanno portato a un aumento del TDP fino a 255 W. E il Xeon W-3175X a 28 core, anch'esso destinato a sistemi desktop ma di una categoria leggermente diversa, viene venduto da CaseKing a 3999 euro.<\/p>\n
