Di default, GhostBSD utilizza il sistema di inizializzazione OpenRC e il file system ZFS. \u00c8 supportato sia il funzionamento in modalit\u00e0 Live che l'installazione su disco rigido (utilizza un proprio installatore ginstall, scritto in Python). Le immagini di avvio sono state create per l'architettura amd64 (2,7 GB).<\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> La base di codice \u00e8 stata aggiornata alla branca sperimentale FreeBSD 13.0-CURRENT;\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel programma di installazione \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per il file system ZFS su partizioni con MBR;\n<li class=\"l\"> Per migliorare il supporto all'installazione su UFS, sono state rimosse le relative impostazioni di ZFS predefinite in TrueOS;\n<li class=\"l\"> Invece di slim, \u00e8 stato utilizzato il gestore di sessione Lightdm;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato rimosso gksu;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la modalit\u00e0 &#171;boot_mute&#187; per l'avvio senza visualizzare il log sullo schermo;\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel
