Il codice del progetto \u00e8 scritto in C (C99) con inserti assembler (NASM\/GAS) e <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/code.videolan.org\/videolan\/dav1d\">distribuito<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 sotto licenza BSD. \u00c8 stata implementata la compatibilit\u00e0 con le architetture x86, x86_64, ARMv7 e ARMv8, e con i sistemi operativi Linux, Windows, macOS, Android e iOS.<\/p>\n<p>La libreria dav1d supporta tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 di AV1, inclusi i modi avanzati <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%A6%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D1%81%D1%83%D0%B1%D0%B4%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%B7%D0%B0%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F\">di sottocampionamento<\/a><\/noindex> e tutti i parametri di controllo della profondit\u00e0 del colore specificati nelle specifiche (8, 10 e 12 bit). Il funzionamento della libreria \u00e8 stato testato su una vasta collezione di file in formato AV1. Una caratteristica chiave di dav1d \u00e8 l'orientamento a raggiungere la massima prestazione di decodifica e garantire un funzionamento efficiente in modalit\u00e0 multi-thread.<\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione sono state aggiunte ottimizzazioni per accelerare la decodifica video tramite le istruzioni SSSE3, SSE4.1 e AVX2. La velocit\u00e0 di decodifica sui processori con SSSE3 \u00e8 aumentata del 24%, mentre sui sistemi con AVX2 \u00e8 aumentata del 4%. \u00c8 stato aggiunto codice assembler per accelerare l'operazione utilizzando le istruzioni SSE4.1, il cui impiego ha permesso un incremento delle performance del 26% rispetto alla versione non ottimizzata (rispetto alle ottimizzazioni basate sulle istruzioni SSSE3, il guadagno \u00e8 intorno all'1.5%). <\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn-images-1.medium.com\/max\/716\/1*8pB12AxLQyZY2fmrRfjPCQ.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Il terzo rilascio di dav1d, il decoder AV1 dei progetti VideoLAN e FFmpeg \" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/51faeb826b1e487a44167c86fbd894b9.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 stata anche aumentata la performance del decodificatore sui dispositivi mobili con processori basati sull'architettura ARM64. AV1 si presenta come un formato di codifica video aperto e privo di royalties, che superano di gran lunga H.264 e VP9 in termini di compressione. In tutte le risoluzioni testate, AV1 fornisce mediamente la stessa qualit\u00e0 riducendo il bitrate del 13% rispetto a VP9 e del 17% rispetto a HEVC. A bit rate elevati, i guadagni aumentano fino al 22-27% per VP9 e fino al 30-43% per HEVC. Nei test di Facebook, AV1 ha superato in termini di compressione main profile H.264 (x264) del 50,3%, high profile H.264 del 46,2% e VP9 (libvpx-vp9) del 34,0%. <\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
