Alla fine del 2018, il servizio di microblogging Tumblr, di propriet\u00e0 di Verizon insieme ad altri asset di Yahoo, ha cambiato le regole per gli utenti. Da quel momento, non \u00e8 stato pi\u00f9 possibile pubblicare contenuti «per adulti» sul sito, anche se prima, dal 2007, tutto era limitato a filtri e «accesso genitoriale». A causa di questo, il sito ha perso circa un terzo del traffico gi\u00e0 dopo 3 mesi.<\/p>\n

Ora \u00e8 comparso<\/a><\/noindex> circola la notizia che il proprietario sta cercando acquirenti per il servizio. \u00c8 curioso notare che uno dei potenziali clienti \u00e8 il pi\u00f9 grande sito di contenuti per adulti, Pornhub. L\u00ec, questo hanno confermato<\/a><\/noindex>, rispondendo alla richiesta dei giornalisti di BuzzFeed News, ha dichiarato di essere «estremamente interessati» all'acquisto di Tumblr e di voler restituire i contenuti «per adulti» sulla piattaforma. Finora non ci sono stati commenti da parte di Verizon al riguardo. Tuttavia, non \u00e8 escluso che l'azienda possa accettare un simile esito, dato che Tumblr non \u00e8 riuscito a diventare una fonte di profitto, come sperato da Yahoo e Verizon. Considerata l'alta competizione nel mercato dei social media e dei servizi di microblogging, Tumblr non ha pi\u00f9 nulla da offrire agli utenti.<\/p>\n

Naturalmente, non si pu\u00f2 escludere che si tratti solo di una manovra informativa, che possa attrarre l'attenzione sulla piattaforma e aumentarne il valore. Infatti, secondo i dati di SensorTower, nell'ultimo trimestre il numero di nuovi utenti mobili del servizio ha raggiunto il livello pi\u00f9 basso dal quarto trimestre del 2013. Rispetto al primo trimestre del 2018, \u00e8 diminuito di circa il 40%.<\/p>\n
