DXVK pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per eseguire applicazioni e giochi 3D su Linux tramite Wine, fungendo da alternativa ad alte prestazioni all'implementazione Direct3D 11 integrata in Wine, che funziona sopra OpenGL.
