Fondatore della distribuzione Antergos<\/a><\/noindex> ha annunciato<\/a><\/noindex> sulla cessazione dello sviluppo dopo sette anni di lavoro sul progetto. La causa della cessazione dello sviluppo \u00e8 attribuita alla mancanza di tempo libero da parte dei rimanenti manutentori per mantenere la distribuzione a un livello adeguato. \u00c8 stato deciso che \u00e8 meglio interrompere il lavoro mentre la distribuzione \u00e8 completamente funzionante e attuale, piuttosto che condannare la comunit\u00e0 degli utenti a una stagnazione graduale. Questa mossa permetter\u00e0 agli entusiasti interessati di utilizzare i progressi di Antergos per creare nuovi progetti. <\/p>\n

Prossimamente verr\u00e0 rilasciato un aggiornamento finale che disattiver\u00e0 i repository specifici di Antergos. I pacchetti sviluppati dal progetto saranno trasferiti in AUR. In questo modo, gli utenti esistenti non dovranno migrare su un'altra distribuzione e continueranno a ricevere aggiornamenti dai repository ufficiali di Arch Linux e AUR.<\/p>\n

Nel suo tempo, il progetto ha continuato lo sviluppo della distribuzione Cinnarch dopo la sua migrazione da Cinnamon a GNOME a causa dell'uso di una parte della parola Cinnamon nel nome della distribuzione.
