Mali-G77, da non confondere con il nuovo processore per display <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/3dnews.ru\/988171\/\">Mali-D77<\/a><\/noindex>, segna il passaggio dall'architettura ARM Bifrost a Valhall.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"La GPU ARM Mali-G77 \u00e8 diventata pi\u00f9 veloce del 40%\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/cc41d236b3270ced605169981ff3f286.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>ARM dichiara un significativo aumento delle prestazioni grafiche del Mali-G77 \u2014 del 40% rispetto all'attuale generazione di Mali-G76. Questo \u00e8 stato raggiunto sia grazie al processo tecnologico che ai miglioramenti architettonici. Il Mali-G77 pu\u00f2 avere da 7 a 16 core (in futuro \u00e8 possibile espandere da 1 a 32), con ciascuno di essi quasi delle stesse dimensioni del G76. La seconda generazione dell'architettura scalare ARM Valhall consente alla GPU di eseguire 16 istruzioni per ciclo su CU rispetto a otto in Bifrost (Mali-G76). La distribuzione su queste tre unit\u00e0 consentiva l'esecuzione di 24 istruzioni FMA con una precisione di calcolo a 32 bit (FP32). In Valhall, ogni CU possiede un'unica unit\u00e0 di esecuzione, condivisa tra due moduli di calcolo, capaci di gestire 16 comandi Warp per ciclo, garantendo quindi una larghezza di banda totale di 32 istruzioni FMA FP32 per CU. Il nuovo modulo di conversione (CVT) gestisce le principali istruzioni intere, logiche, di branching e di conversione.
